Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Exterior

Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Review: Front
The front face of the Pajero adopts the character of the former Mitsubishi Strada Triton. This is different from the latest model now, which uses the Dynamic Shield Design. Honestly, we prefer this generation of Pajero Sport. Looks more manly and dignified.
The main lights are neatly connected to the main grille, complete with Fog Lamps on the underside.

On the side of the body, Step Side has been added which makes it easier for passengers to enter the cabin. This one feature is quite useful, considering the Ground Clearance is quite high. Eits, there are also a number of things that we like, namely the chrome accents on the Door Handle and the mirrors. Managed to reinforce the impression of luxury.
The high Ground Clearance has many functions, especially when driving in flooded areas and rough terrain.

Not so many features on the rear body. But what is clear, we like the shape of the glass which is very wide, making it easier for visibility when driving. Meanwhile, the design of the lamp is quite sporty combined with the Chrome Garnish above the license plate.
Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Interior
What about the interior of the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2009? When compared to the Toyota Fortuner, we prefer the Pajero’s cabin design. It looks more premium and has quite complete features. Our advice is to choose the GLX 4×4 type, guaranteed you will have an unforgettable driving experience.

The dashboard is not boring, thanks to the use of a two-color combination, namely black and silver. But for those of you who are not used to using a 2000s car, you will be less familiar with its features. Our advice, no need to worry, try to adapt and you will find that all the features on the dashboard make your driving process easier.
The unique thing is the arrangement of its features. From the top side of the dashboard, there is a neat Multi Information Display (MID), followed by the AC settings on the middle side and the Head Unit on the bottom side. It’s a little strange, before finally the formation was changed in the Facelift version in 2011.
The steering wheel features audio settings buttons. Practically, you only need to press the buttons on the left side of the wheel, no need to worry about losing concentration while driving. Quite comfortable with the material used for the steering wheel. Feels very comfortable in the hand.

The seat section of this car has 3 rows of seats that can accommodate a maximum of 8 passengers. For the seat material itself, the Pajero Sport Gen 1 is equipped with leather seats so you will be comfortable sitting in this car. In our opinion, the Pajero Sport also has a large luggage capacity.
Our criticism is on the seat aspect. Indeed, on the first and second row seats, it feels quite spacious and comfortable for leg room matters. It’s a pity that the third row seats are quite narrow and give the passengers an uncomfortable feeling. It is recommended that the rear row seats be for kids.
Mitsubishi Pajero Sport Features
You don’t need to be confused about the features of the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2009. The reason is that this tough car is already armed with features such as the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA). Guaranteed, braking performance will feel softer and more precise.
What’s most interesting is the 4×4 drive mode, making it very tough on off-road and urban terrain. Unfortunately, 4×4 mode is only offered in two types, namely GLS and GLX, absent for the Exceed type. Meanwhile for the safety sector, the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2009 is equipped with Dual Airbags, Immobilizer, Rear Parking Sensors and Alarm System.
For the first version that appeared in Indonesia, the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2009 engine operation uses the code 4D56 with a capacity of 2,477 cc. The power produced by the engine is no less than 138 PS at 3,500 Rpm rotation. Likewise with regard to peak torque, incising the figure of 314 Nm is equivalent to 2,000 Rpm. Later, this engine performance will be combined with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission.
Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2009 engine has quite good power at 138 PS and peak torque of 314 Nm.
The diesel engine feels tough in terms of torque, able to devour many terrains with ease.
There is one thing that could be a weakness. In this first version, the engine was not supported by the VGT configuration, it only appeared on the Dakar type which was released two years later. As a result, the 2009 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport has a weakness in the lower engine speed which feels less when compared to the Dakar version.
Our advice, for those of you who only have urban activities, it is better to choose the Exceed 4×2 type. Feels more fuel efficient because it doesn’t take a lot of power to rotate the propulsion mode. It’s a different story if you do a lot of activities in mountainous areas full of inclines, our suggestion is the 4×4 type, be it GLS or GLX.
