Honda released the adventure model CRF250 RALLY equipped with a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, single-cylinder 250cc engine; a large screen and a large-capacity fuel tank on February 20 (Monday) 2017.

The Honda CRF250 RALLY was unveiled as a concept model for the first time in the world at the 31st Osaka Motorcycle Show/42nd Tokyo Motorcycle Show held in March 2015, and was very well received. Based on the development concept of “The Dakar Replica For Weekend Adventurers”, we have inherited and developed not only the form of the Dakar rally machine “CRF450 RALLY” but also its development philosophy.
Reminiscent of the CRF450 RALLY, it features a large, wind-protective screen that enables comfortable high-speed cruising, as well as a frame mount similar to that of a rally machine, and an asymmetrical twin-lens LED with a unique front view. In addition to adopting headlights, the body color is extreme red to give an aggressive impression. In addition, by adopting long-stroke front and rear suspensions that take into account driving on unpaved roads, it creates a sense of presence that exceeds the frame of the 250cc class. The engine is equipped with an easy-to-handle, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, single-cylinder 250cc engine that combines powerful torque in the low-rpm range and extended output in the high-rpm range. The brake system is equipped with an ABS type that suppresses tire lock during sudden braking or sudden changes in the road surface. In addition, the front and rear suspensions have been changed, and the seat height has been lowered by 65mm to make it easier to get your feet on the ground.

Engine
- The engine employs low-friction technology and is based on a liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, single-cylinder 250cc engine that is popular for its excellent fuel efficiency and ease of handling in a variety of situations. In addition, it achieves both powerful low-speed torque
- Employment of a throttle body with a larger caliber and an expanded exhaust pipe with an expanded pipe diameter in the middle of the pipe realizes engine characteristics that are easier to handle
- By creating a two-chamber structure inside the muffler, it is possible to create a crisp, pulsing feeling in the exhaust sound, while realizing a lightweight and compact design

- Floating windscreen with the same shape as the CRF450 RALLY and frame-mounted asymmetric twin high-brightness LED headlights
- The knuckle guard, shroud, middle cowl, and under cowl are designed with air management in mind. In addition, by reducing the air resistance that the rider receives along with the windscreen, rider fatigue is reduced and comfortable high-speed cruising performance is achieved
- Large-capacity 10-liter fuel tank for long-distance touring convenience while ensuring freedom of riding position
- Airplane type hinged tank cap for ease of use when refueling
