The New 2007 Honda Forza Z is a premium and comfortable two-seater scooter equipped with water-cooled 4-stroke OHC 4-valve single-cylinder 250cc engine, automatic transmission.
Honda has been well received for its highly convenient functions and sporty styling, such as the automatic transmission “Honda Smatic” that uses electronic control technology and the “Honda Smart Card Key System” that allows the engine to be started without key operation. Full model change of the light motorcycle scooter Forza series. Forza Z and Forza Z ABS will be released on December 25th (Tuesday) 2007.
In this full model change, by installing a newly designed 4-valve single-cylinder engine, a powerful driving feeling is realized while complying with the 2006 domestic motorcycle emission regulations. In addition, the frame and suspension have been newly designed to achieve a higher quality ride than the conventional model. In terms of design as well, the development concept was to improve the aerodynamic characteristics by reviewing the shape of the entire body, including changing the mounting position and shape of the meter visor on the front part, and achieving both a sleek form and comfort when riding. It has evolved further as a “premium conceptual 2-seater”.
The engine is equipped with a newly designed 4-valve engine from the conventional 2-valve. By reviewing the shape of the combustion chamber and adopting metal crank bearings, dual core catalyzer, etc., we have achieved improvements in environmental performance such as high output, low vibration, and low fuel consumption.
The automatic mechanism “Honda Smatic”, which has been well received in the past, is the world’s first motorcycle product in addition to the 7-speed manual shift mode. “Load discrimination function” is adopted. By automatically selecting the shift position that can obtain the optimum driving force according to the driving conditions, a powerful driving feeling is realized on uphill and tandem driving.
Since its introduction in 2000, the Forza series has been well received as a sporty and utility-friendly scooter, and since the full model change in 2004, it has been further enhanced with the concept of “comfortable stylish 2-seater”. It is a popular model that has received high praise from customers and recorded the No. 1 reported number of light-weight motorcycles for 37 consecutive months from May 2004 to May 2007.

Main Features of The 3rd Gen Honda Forza 2007
Newly Designed 4-Valve Engine
In the New Forza series, the conventional 2-valve engine has been renewed to a newly designed water-cooled, 4-stroke, 4-valve, single-cylinder engine. A metal crank bearing is used to reduce engine noise, and a sealed crankcase is used to provide sufficient lubrication with a compact crankcase. Equipped with Honda’s first primary balancer in a sealed crankcase. In terms of the environment, a roller rocker arm and an offset cylinder are used to reduce friction loss, and FI control is optimized by adding an O2 sensor to achieve class-leading fuel efficiency… By adopting the newly developed dual-core catalyzer, we have achieved clean environmental performance that complies with the 2006 domestic motorcycle emission regulations, as well as high output, low vibration, and low fuel consumption.
Evolved Automatic Transmission
The automatic mechanism “Honda S Matic” installed in the Forza Z and Forza Z ABS is equipped with the world’s first “load discrimination function” as a new motorcycle product in addition to the 7-speed manual shift mode… In the auto shift mode, the load is automatically determined from the vehicle speed, engine rotation, and throttle opening, such as when driving uphill or in tandem, and automatic shifting is performed to the gear that can obtain the optimum driving force. This realizes a powerful driving feeling even in winding with many uphill slopes.
High Rigidity Frame
The frame is a newly designed backbone frame, and by adopting a large diameter, thin-walled high-strength steel pipe, the weight is almost the same as the conventional model, and the lateral rigidity is increased by about 60% and the torsional rigidity is increased by about 30%… It has both toughness and suppleness, and improves stability during high-speed driving and tandem driving and comfort in the city.
Elegant Styling & Design
The design concept is “condensed solid body & amp; emotional surface”. The slim body and minimal rear overhang emphasize the compactness and sportiness. The meter visor on the front part has improved aerodynamic characteristics by reviewing the entire body, such as changing the mounting position and shape, achieving both a sleek form and comfort when riding. The round tail lamp, which has a strong presence, has a sportier design while following the image of the conventional model, and the instrument panel also has a high-quality design reminiscent of a four-wheeled vehicle.
A Wide Variety Of Body Colors
The Forza Z has a total of four colors, including digital silver metallic, which has been popular as a calm color, plus new colors graphite black, duke magenta metallic, and canita hitian blue. Forza Z ABS comes in two body colors, graphite black and titanium metallic, which are new colors. A two-tone color with mocha beige on the seat and step parts is adopted, and the wheels are made gold to express a more luxurious feeling.
