It is a model developed with the keyword.
1995/1996 Honda CBR600F (P25) Overview
The 1996 Honda CBR600F engine is equipped with water-cooled, 4-cycle, DOHC, in-line 4-cylinder, 599cc. This time, we are trying to further improve the efficiency of the intake and exhaust system by making the valve spring single, and by adopting a newly designed oil pan with a low oil level, we respond by reducing the operating resistance of each part of the engine. Also it uses VP60 carburetor model wicth is different with the previous 1992 Honda CB600F that use VP40 model
In addition, the ignition system controls the ignition timing independently for each of the 1st, 4th, 2nd and 3rd cylinders by the preset 3D map, and combines it with the conventional throttle opening sensor. It is possible to supply the ideal ignition timing according to the running, and it demonstrates a powerful power feeling in a wider rotation range.
The 1996 Honda CBR600F frame and suspension adopt a steel twin tube frame that balances suppleness and rigidity at a high level while matching the compact engine shape. A damper structure (H.M.A.S.) * that demonstrates smooth damping force characteristics has been adopted for the front fork with a large diameter (41 mm) that is lightweight and highly rigid, and the rear damper with a reservoir tank, while providing the optimum ride quality. Furthermore, the rear axle travel length has been changed from the conventional 110mm to 120mm to achieve both a comfortable ride and excellent driving performance.
* H.M.A.S …. Honda Multi Action System
The Honda CBR600F brake is equipped with a hydraulic double disc with excellent braking feeling on the front and a hydraulic single disc on the rear. This time, the thickness of the front disc has been changed from the conventional 4.0mm to 4.5mm. Furthermore, while ensuring sufficient braking force by changing the material of the sintered pad, the increase in weight is suppressed by changing the number of floating pins from 10 to 8.
The Honda CBR600F exterior is a fully covered design with aeroform with low air resistance, but we are pursuing thorough air management such as installing a direct air induction system that introduces outside air into the carburetor. This time, we have adopted a new shape front fender that reduces air resistance, and by changing the shape of the seat and seat cowl, we have made it a sportier image while improving foot comfort.
Furthermore, along with the change in the shape of the seat cowl, an aluminum grab rail has been adopted and the shape has been changed to improve usability.
In addition, the internal structure of the fuel tank has been changed to a capacity of 17L, and loading hooks that are useful for rear grab rails and touring are installed in a total of 4 locations on the left and right to make it easier to use.
