1984 Honda CBR400F Endurance Full Fairing + Special specification
Honda Motor Co., Ltd. released a special specification sports bike with full fairing on the popular “Honda CBR400F Endurance” in August 10, 1984.

This CBR400F endurance special specification motorbike is equipped with a full fairing to reduce rider fatigue during long-term high-speed driving and give it a fearless image.
The engine is equipped with an air-cooled, 4-cycle, DOHC, 16-valve, in-line 4-cylinder engine that uses a rotation-response valve suspension mechanism (REV) that changes the number of operating valves according to the rotation speed installed in the Honda CBR400F series. It achieves a high output of 58PS/12,300rpm and excellent fuel economy of 40Km per liter (60Km/h constant-land driving test value).
The frame adopts a double cradle type of square cross-section pipe that pursues light weight and high rigidity by computer analysis. The suspension uses an air assist type for the front wheels and a prolink type for the rear wheels, and exhibits excellent road followability in combination with the brake torque response type anti-dive mechanism (TRAC) that alleviates the sinking of the vehicle body during braking.
The brakes are equipped with double flat discs with dual piston calipers on the front wheels and single on the rear wheels, making it a full-featured equipment suitable for high-performance road sports bikes.

National standard cash price of Honda CBR400F Endurance Full Fairing : 615,000 yen (Hokkaido/Okinawa price is 9,000 yen higher. Other, some remote islands are excluded).
