1982 New Honda CB125JX is the latest update of this touring sports motorcycle model equipped with an air-cooled 4-cycle, OHC, single-cylinder engine that has gained strong popularity as a highly economical, durable and lightweight slim motorcycle since its launch. It was released on December 17th 1982 with improved power performance and enhanced functions and equipment.
By partially improving the intake and exhaust system, the maximum output and maximum torque have been improved, and the fuel efficiency has also been improved. The front air assist suspension was adopted for the first time in the 125cc class of road sports. Change to square headlights.
This new Honda CB125JX has improved maximum output (14 horsepower → 15 horsepower) and maximum torque (1.0 kg-m → 1.1 kg-m) by partially improving the intake and exhaust system. At the same time, we are also aiming to improve fuel efficiency (60Km/L → 62Km/L, 50Km/h level running test value).
The suspension uses the front air assist suspension, the first for a road sports 125cc class. The rear uses a newly designed cushion damper, high-rigidity square cross-section swingarm, and 18-inch rear tire, which, together with the lightweight slim body (dry weight 100kg), enables light handling.
In addition, in order to improve braking power, the front is equipped with a hydraulic disc brake and the rear is equipped with a large diameter 130φ drum brake.
