The CM250T was released in October 1980 as an “American style light motorcycle” equipped with the air-cooled 2-cylinder OHC 3-valve engine with a balancer installed in the CB250T Hawk. At the time of its release, a drop-shaped tank (capacity 13 liters) was adopted, which was considered a “new sensation”, and it was also possible to choose a type with a single seat or a rear carrier. After the CM250T, the REBEL (NC13 type) appeared in 1985, continuing the light motorcycle American series, but at the stage of the CM250T appearance, it was an era where “American” was set according to the shape of the handlebar and seat. .
