- The engine incorporates valve timing based on feedback from HRC factory racers. In addition, the throttle bore has been made smaller, the intake port has been shaped, and the air funnel has been lengthened to improve torque from the low rpm range and further pursue ease of handling.
- For the purpose of improving suspension operability and body stability, the aluminum thickness of the front joint of the frame down tube and the rear cushion upper bracket has been changed from 4mm to 6mm to improve the rigidity of the suspension mounting part and the frame.
- The material of the engine mount on the cylinder head has been changed from aluminum to steel, and the shape has been optimized to improve the traction performance of the front tires and the stability of the vehicle body.
- The front and rear suspension, which are suitable for enduro driving, have been changed to match the frame rigidity review.
- Adopts a hydraulic clutch that does not require free play adjustment of the clutch lever.
- Resin fuel tank with a capacity of 8L suitable for enduro driving.
- Lightweight and compact lithium-ion battery.
*Use the lithium-ion battery charger recommended by the battery manufacturer. Using a non-recommended charger may damage the battery.
This time, the CRF450R / CRF450RX aims to improve the output and torque in the low and medium speed range, and in addition to reducing the diameter of the throttle bore and extending the funnel in the intake system, the valve spring rate, port shape, and valve timing change. FI setting has been optimized according to the above change.
For the body, the thickness of the front joint of the frame down tube and the aluminum thickness of the rear cushion upper bracket have been increased to optimize frame rigidity. In addition, the engine mount material of the cylinder head has been changed from aluminum to steel, and the shape has been optimized to contribute to the stability of the front tire.
For the suspension, the front and rear suspension settings have been changed to optimize frame rigidity, contributing to excellent off-road performance and operability.
All models use extreme red to express the strength and passion of Honda off-road models. In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the product brand “CR”, the CRF450R has a special color scheme reminiscent of the “CR” that was active in the motocross racing scene in the 1980s. The graphic design on the side of the radiator has been changed.
The CRF450RX is based on the CRF450R, and the CRF250RX is based on the CRF250R, and is equipped with a knuckle guard and side stand as standard equipment, as well as an increased tank capacity, making it a model designed for enduro competition.
