Honda CB400 Super Bol D’or model year 2005 is a 400cc class sportbike equipped with a half cowl, a water-cooled, 4-stroke, DOHC, in-line 4-cylinder, 400cc HYPER VTEC SPEC III engine based on CB400SF VTEC 3 model.

This type was added and released on March 30, 2005 (Wednesday) as a variation model equipped with a half cowl to improve stability at high speeds. As a CB400 series, it became a model with a cowl since the CB400SF version R (1994). Since the basic mechanism is the same as the base model, the “HYPER VTEC” system is installed altough it is not written in the motorbike name.

This time, the “CB400 SUPER FOUR” adopts a preload adjuster mechanism that enables stepless adjustment of the front fork to enable a wide range of settings according to the driving conditions. In addition, high-density urethane material is used for the seat cushion to improve ride comfort.
The added type “CB400 SUPER BOL D’OR” is based on this “CB400 SUPER FOUR” and is equipped with a newly designed half cowl.
