The 2013 Honda CBR125R is a road sports motorcycle model equipped with a water-cooled, 4-stroke, OHC, single-cylinder 125cc engine, released on June 17th (Monday) 2013.
The styling adopts a flowing and dynamic design that is reminiscent of Honda’s super sports model. A sporty design is realized by the cowl shape that has both aerodynamic performance and sharp design, and the short type muffler.
The engine is designed to be lightweight and compact, and has output characteristics that are easy to handle from low to high revs, making it a specification that allows you to enjoy driving from urban areas to winding roads. In addition, by adopting an electronically controlled fuel injection system (PGM-FI *) and a 6-speed transmission, the fuel efficiency is excellent at 52.5km/L (60km/h constant-land driving test value).
The body and suspension use a twin tube frame with excellent rigidity and strength. The front and rear wheels are equipped with full-scale equipment similar to the super sports model, such as adopting controllable disc brakes compatible with sports riding.

design
The upper cowl, middle cowl, and under cowl are independent parts, but by superimposing them, a sharp full cowl design with a sense of unity is realized. The rear side cover adopts a sharp design that jumps up to the tail lamp. Along with the short type muffler, the rear area has a sporty image. The coloring is set in two colors, Ross White and Black, which are based on the image of Honda’s traditional tricolor.
Body/undercarriage
The frame uses a twin tube frame that has the same shape as the super sports model. It has a pentagonal cross-section structure made of steel, and has excellent rigidity and strength. The suspension uses a telescopic type at the front and a monoshock type at the rear. Lightweight 5-spoke aluminum cast wheels are used for the front and rear wheels. The brakes are disc brakes on the front and rear wheels, making them full-scale equipment reminiscent of supersport models. The riding position is set to be widely enjoyable from city driving to sporty riding in the suburbs, with separate type handles and seats that give consideration to fit and foot comfort.

The water-cooled, 4-stroke, OHC, 2-valve, single-cylinder 125cc engine is designed to be lightweight and compact. By actively guiding the running wind to the radiator with the cowl structure, the cooling efficiency is improved and stable combustion is realized in various usage environments. In addition, by adopting an electronically controlled fuel injection system (PGM-FI) and a 6-speed manual transmission, it is possible to enjoy sporty riding from low to high revs.
