Who Are ENHYPEN?

ENHYPEN is a South Korean boy group formed through the survival reality show I-LAND in 2020. Managed by Belift Lab, a joint venture between HYBE Corporation and CJ ENM, they debuted on November 30, 2020, with their mini-album BORDER: DAY ONE.

History of ENHYPEN

The journey of ENHYPEN began with I-LAND, a reality competition show that aired in mid-2020. The program brought together 23 trainees from various backgrounds to compete for a spot in the final lineup. After weeks of intense challenges, performances, and audience voting, seven members were chosen to form ENHYPEN.

The group’s debut album, BORDER: DAY ONE, set the stage for their rise to fame, breaking records and earning them the title of “super rookies.” Their subsequent releases, such as BORDER: CARNIVAL and DIMENSION: DILEMMA, further solidified their position in the K-pop industry. Despite being a relatively new group, ENHYPEN has already achieved significant milestones, including numerous awards and millions of album sales worldwide.

  • Heeseung (이희승) (Lee Heeseung): Born on October 15, 2001, in Namyangju, South Korea. He is the main vocalist and one of the most experienced members. Known for his versatile vocals and leadership qualities.
  • Jay (박종성) (Park Jongseong): Born on April 20, 2002, in Seattle, Washington, USA. He is a lead rapper and known for his energetic personality. Charismatic performer with strong stage presence.
  • Jake (심재윤) (Sim Jaeyun): Born on November 15, 2002, in Brisbane, Australia. He is a lead rapper and sub-vocalist with strong international appeal. Australian-Korean member bringing international charm.
  • Sunghoon (박성훈) (Park Sunghoon): Born on December 8, 2002, in Suwon, South Korea. He is a visual and lead dancer, previously a professional figure skater. Former professional figure skater turned idol.
  • Sunoo (김선우) (Kim Sunoo): Born on June 24, 2003, in Suwon, South Korea. He is a lead vocalist and known for his warm personality. Loved for his bright personality and expressive vocals.
  • Jungwon (양정원) (Yang Jungwon): Born on February 9, 2004, in Seoul, South Korea. He is the leader and main dancer of the group. The official leader, known for his balanced skills.
  • Ni-ki (니시무라 리키) (Nishimura Riki): Born on December 9, 2005, in Okayama, Japan. He is the main dancer and the youngest member of ENHYPEN. The youngest member and dance prodigy from Japan.
