Sakamoto Mashiro (坂本 舞白; born December 16, 1999) is a Japanese singer and dancer under 143 Entertainment, former member of Kep1er. She ranked eighth on Mnet’s reality survival show Girls Planet 999, becoming a member of the girl group Kep1er. She is believed to be the Co-Leader with Choi Yu-jin as Leader. She also underwent a training period with the other ITZY members for several years (ex-trainee JYP Entertainment), making her also have good Korean language skills before joining Girls Planet 999.

Sakamoto Mashiro’s Career
Sakamoto Mashiro started her career as a trainee under JYP Entertainment in 2016 along with ITZY members and trained for 2 years with the label. She almost debuted as a member of ITZY before she finally chose to leave JYP Entertainment in 2018. Then in 2019 ITZY officially debuted, a year after Mashiro decided to leave. After leaving JYP Entertainment, Mashiro returned to her home country, Japan, and worked as a part-timer. In 2021, Mashiro participated in the Mnet survival show Girls Planet 999 and made it to the finals, making her debut as the 8th member of Kep1er. Mashiro was under Wakeone Entertainment as a member of Kep1er who is planned to be active for 2.5 years, and individually Mashiro is under 143 Entertainment along with another Kep1er member, Kang Yeseo.
