Formation & Produce 101 Season 2 (2017)

Rainz was formed as a special project group consisting of seven trainees who competed on Produce 101 Season 2 but did not make it into the final lineup of Wanna One. Due to strong fan support, their agencies collaborated to create Rainz, allowing the members to debut as a temporary group.

Debut with Sunshine (October 2017)

Rainz officially debuted on October 12, 2017, with the mini-album Sunshine, featuring the title track Juliette. The group quickly gained attention for their refreshing and bright concept.

Japanese Activities & Shake You Up (2018)
