Infinix Hot 30 Reviews
Like the Hot 30i, this new Hot series from Infinix is also predicted to offer an immersive gaming experience. This is also shown through collaboration by directly collaborating with Free Fire.
Infinix even specifically presents a special offer in the form of a Hot 30 Exclusive Gift Box which is available limited to its first sale.
In this special sales package, buyers will get Free Fire-themed merchandise such as Hot 30 customized phone cases, stickers, warrior lanyards, Alvaro Tray Eject Pins, and in-game gift code items that can be exchanged for special Free Fire items.
In terms of devices, the Infinix Hot 30 is equipped with a number of advantages that are certainly highly desired by urban users, one of which is the NFC feature, and interestingly, this smartphone is only priced at around IDR 1 million.
Curious about the true performance of this smartphone? Check out the full review of the Infinix Hot 30 below.
Cool Design
Cool and Elegant. That’s the first impression when you see the body of Infinix’s latest smartphone. Like some of its predecessors, the ‘flat’ design concept with a boxy body structure is a special attraction in the Hot 30.
Almost most of the body structure is dominated by plastic. Interestingly, the back cover is decorated with a unique structure in the form of curved lines with a gradation effect that makes it look even cooler.
The texture of the back that is like a glass layer is not slippery. The weight is also relatively light for a smartphone with a wide screen. So, it will still be comfortable when held in the hand.
Still on the back of the body, the Infinix Hot 30 displays a contemporary camera module consisting of the main camera, AI Lens and LED flash in a triangular formation. This camera arrangement is widely applied to several flagship smartphones from well-known brands.
Moving on to the sides of the body. The Hot 30 places the volume and lockscreen/power buttons on the right. For those who are new to using today’s entry-level smartphones, you must be wondering where the fingerprint sensor is. Well, in this Hot 30, Infinix has embedded a fingerprint sensor that is integrated with the power button.
This fingerprint sensor is quite responsive and fast in detecting fingerprint data registered by the user to unlock the screen.
While on the opposite side there is a SIM Tray slot, which consists of two places to place the operator’s SIM card and one tray for a microSD card.
Moving to the bottom area. There is a 3.5mm audio jack hole, a USB-C port for charging, a mic and a speaker cone. Oh yes, this Infinix Hot 30 apparently already supports stereo speakers. The other speaker hole is above the punch hole camera on the screen.
The Infinix Hot 30 itself comes in several color choices such as Surfing Green, Racing Black, and Sonic White.
Clear Screen
Now let’s get to the screen section. Like the Hot 30i that we reviewed some time ago, the Infinix Hot 30 still uses an IPS LCD screen. The plus point is that the Hot 30 has a larger screen size, namely 6.78 inches (Hot 30i 6.56 inches).
In addition, the screen of this latest Infinix smartphone also has a higher resolution, namely Full HD + (1080 & # 215; 2460) with a brightness level of up to 600 nits, and supports 96% DCI-P3.
Screen specifications like this will certainly provide comfort when watching movies on Netflix, watching YouTube videos or playing games.
In fact, when used directly outdoors which is directly exposed to sunlight, the Hot 30 screen can still display images that are quite clear and sharp. This is thanks to the support of Dark Region Enhancement (DRE) technology owned by Hot 30.
To provide even more maximum comfort, Infinix Hot 30 also supports a 90Hz refresh rate and a 270Hz touch sampling rate.
Through this advantage, the action of ‘sweeping’ the screen to view and open content or applications becomes smoother and smoother.
The plus point is that users can set the screen refresh rate options according to their needs. Starting from the highest 90Hz, the standard 60Hz, or automatic settings by selecting the Auto-switch Refresh Rate option.
Other advantages also offered by the Hot 30 screen include support for Dark Mode, Eye Care and fairly complete personalization options thanks to the support of the XOS v12.6 interface based on Android 13.
Since the Hot 30 we tested was a special edition resulting from the collaboration between Infinix and Free Fire, the interface of this smartphone is quite thickly decorated with Free Fire characters. Starting from wallpaper, theme to menu icon.
Based on the official statement, there are around 46 original Free Fire-themed widgets and icons that users can choose to beautify the appearance of the Hot 30 interface.
Not only that, users can also set ringtones and message sounds according to the available Free Fire characters.
Infinix Hot 30 50MP Camera Review
For photos and videos, the Infinix Hot 30 is not inferior to smartphones in the middle class. This is thanks to the support of the 50MP main camera configuration which has an f/1.6 lens aperture which is collaborated with AI Lens and Quad-LED flash.
Like the jargon it carries “Super Night Film Photography”, this Hot 30 offers capable night photography capabilities in its class.
Regarding the quality of the shots, the Hot 30 camera is still quite proud. The camera is capable of producing photos with sharp details both in conditions with abundant light and in places with less bright light. Of course, for low-light locations, users also need to activate HDR mode or turn on the LED flash.
As with the previous Infinix smartphone line, the Hot 30 camera interface is also fairly standard. Users will find a number of camera modes such as Film, Video, AI Cam, beauty, and portrait. Unfortunately, there is no Pro or manual mode option on this device.
Interestingly, this smartphone adds a camera mode that is actually not new, namely AR Camera. But what makes it interesting is that this AR-based camera mode can be used to create selfies with special AR Free Fire characters. Just scroll up on the camera menu and select AR mode to use it.
In addition to photos, this AR Shot mode can also be used to create short videos. Here users can add background and sound.
Especially for night photos, Hot 30 presents Super Night mode. Just select it in the camera menu when you want to take a photo. In this mode, users can use the 2x zoom option and add filters.
An interesting point that seems to need to be explored is the Film mode. In it, there are around 10 templates that can be directly applied to produce aesthetic videos. Here users can see a short guide to creating videos according to the selected template. Next, just apply the template when making a video recording.
In our opinion, for a cellphone that is priced at only around 1 million, the results of the Infinix Hot 30 camera shots are quite good and interesting. Still suitable for use to capture traveling moments and share via social media accounts.
Infinix Hot 30 Performance Review
In this Hot 30, Infinix and Free Fire are predicted to present a new standard of entry-level gaming performance. Through the MediaTek Helio G88 chipset configuration, which consists of 2×2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 and 6×1.8 GHz Cortex-A55 and collaborated with the Mali-G52 MC2 GPU.
To ensure capable gaming performance in its class, the Infinix Hot 30 is supported by an 8GB RAM capacity which is also supported by MemFusion technology. This AI-based feature allows the Hot 30 to increase memory capacity, especially RAM, by utilizing some of the unused internal storage.
In AI MemFusion, users can increase RAM capacity from 3GB to 8GB. For the maximum option, the Hot 30 RAM capacity becomes 16GB.
The results of this memory optimization also have an impact on the increasingly fast Hot 30 in running applications. Startup speed is better, and minimizes lag when playing games.
For storage capacity itself, the Hot 30 that we tested has a fairly large memory space, namely 128GB. And it is still equipped with a microSD slot that supports storage capacity up to 1TB.
Especially for gaming, the Hot 30 is also equipped with Dar-Link 3.0 which can increase gaming performance to a more maximum level. Including its ability to control the temperature of the device, so that the gaming experience is really smooth.
In this Dar-Link Engine, users can set a number of functions such as graphic optimization, to notification settings and device functions.
To prove the overall performance of the performance of its innards, we tried the game directly from Infinix’s special collaboration, namely Free Fire. There were no problems at all when playing Free Fire, everything ran smoothly and smoothly. Even for graphic settings, it can be set to Ultra level with FPS at the highest level (high).
Thanks to the auto-adjust cooling assistance capability of Dar-Link 3.0, the condition of the device when used to play games for one hour is still relatively normal, which is around 34 degrees Celsius. However, if used for longer, sometimes the heat on the back body can increase. So, you should also be wise in using your smartphone.
For those who are still curious about the performance of this smartphone, we also conducted tests using several benchmark applications. Hot 30 shows quite good performance for a million smartphone with an AnTuTu v10.0.1 score reaching 258 thousand. One level better than its predecessor Infinix Hot 30i which averages only 140 thousand.
Other Features of Infinix Hot 30
Another advantage of Hot 30 and worth considering if you want to buy this device is the support for the NFC feature. With this feature, users can use it to check and top up e-money balances.
It is suitable for urban people who usually travel using KRL, MRT, Busway or who can enter and exit toll roads (TOL).
In addition, Hot 30 is also equipped with Link-Booming which ensures a stable connection. This technology combines WiFi and cellular data to improve data transmission even when the network is weak.
Infinix Hot 30 Battery Review
Regarding battery life, the Infinix Hot 30 is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery. Quite large, and can provide time for activities for more than a day. With a note for normal use, such as calling and WhatsApp, browsing, watching YouTube for a reasonable duration.
Interestingly, the Hot 30 is also equipped with the Power Marathon feature with power-saving technology that in standby mode can last all day or make calls for up to 2 hours, even though the battery is only at 5%.
In addition, this smartphone is also supported by super-fast charging technology, 33W Fast Charge, which offers a charging speed capability 2x faster than standard smartphones.
Because we were curious, we tested the charging speed of the Hot 30 using the default adapter and charger cable. From 0% to 50%, charging only takes about 30 minutes. It’s pretty fast.

Conclusion

In addition to being supported by the best screen quality in its class, large memory capacity, long-lasting battery with capable fast charging capabilities, the Infinix Hot 30 is also equipped with an NFC feature which is generally still relatively rare in smartphones under Rp. 2 million.
