OPPO Reno11 Pro 5G Reviews

How does it perform? Check out the following review.

Bring Beautiful DesignBring Beautiful Design

So far, we have been treated to relatively the same back cover design on Reno phones. The only difference is in the color combination. But this time the Reno11 5G comes with a back cover design and a combination of two different color choices. One still carries the same breath as the previous Reno, the other carries a different coloring technique.
Apart from being a differentiator or product identity, the application of different models is also OPPO’s way of introducing coloring techniques that bring a new philosophy.
There are two color options, namely rock gray which carries the DNA of the previous Reno coloring, namely OPPO Glow. And there is also pearl white which is the result of combining 3 layers of color into one glass surface, by combining 3.6 million small reflective parts to create a pearl-like effect.
Both the back cover and the front of the phone are then coated with a layer of 3D curved glass. Aka a curved surface on the edge of the phone. Making this phone feel more like a flagship.
Another part that has changed is on the side of the main camera frame. OPPO now places 2 cameras in one round section, then places another camera in a separate section below it, but in the same oval frame. Similar to the Reno10 series, but looks more unique.
The result of this design choice is a relatively lightweight device. Despite having a fairly wide cross-section compared to other phones, this phone feels light and comfortable to hold, whether using a silicone case or not.

Curved OLED Display

Still in line with the previous OPPO Reno, this time the Reno11 Pro 5G also carries a 3D curve screen. Or we can call it a curved screen on two edges, right and left. This is made possible by the use of a 6.7-inch OLED screen type that stretches to fill almost 93% of the front of the phone.
The screen with FHD+ resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels emits brilliant colors with a dynamic refresh rate, maximum at 120Hz. Suitable for those who like to keep an eye on the Instagram, X, or TikTok timeline. Because the screen movement when swiping each content will run smoothly.
This screen has a 100% DCI-P3 gamut specification with a brightness level of 950 nits. Complete with an HDR10+ certificate to experience your favorite shows to the fullest. Especially from supported sources and file formats.

Live with ColorOS14

One of the advantages of the OPPO Reno11 Pro and friends, which are still in the Reno11 series, is that it immediately brings ColorOS 14. This OS is the latest OS based on Android 14. There are many new things that help our workflow as users.
One of them is File Dock. This feature allows us to save images, text or files in the dock provided on the edge of the screen. To be used later in other applications, such as the chat feature on WhatsApp or Telegram. Just drag and drop.
For article writers like us, this feature is very helpful and cuts down on the time needed to move from one application to another.
In addition, there is a cutting out feature. Where we can press the image, then the system will separate the image we touch from its background. Then save it in the File Dock to be used in other applications. Interesting, isn’t it?
And of course, because this is based on Android 14, it is possible that some features will be added in the future, such as circle to search, which is reportedly going to be released on all Android products.
Unfortunately, we have to say goodbye to the OPPO Share feature. Because now it is replaced with Nearby share which will then be uniformly changed to Quick Share in the next few updates.

Memory, Chipset, Performance Features

OPPO Reno11 Pro 5G uses a high-end Mediatek chipset, namely the Dimensity 8200. It is a chipset with a 4nm architecture, equipped with gaming tools, and a number of interesting features.
OPPO also embeds the LinkBoost feature into this phone. This feature, developed by OPPO itself, focuses on optimizing the phone’s network. So that it can increase data transmission strength up to 73% faster and signal reception 17% stronger.
Combined with AI on the network and 360-degree antenna design, this technology allows us to receive better signals even in areas with poor signal. For example, in an elevator, or in a basement parking lot.
And able to restore connection quickly after we lose signal in those places.
To support all these performance, OPPO prepares 12 GB of RAM that can be expanded to 24 GB with the RAM Expansion feature. Also of course a storage capacity of 512 GB.

Camera with Hypertone Imaging Engine

OPPO and Hasselblad have had a fairly intense collaboration, until in 2023 they introduced a new algorithm called the HyperTone Imaging Engine ( Read here ). OPPO Find X6 Pro and Find N3 are some of the flagship phones that have already used this feature. And in the Reno11 Pro 5G, this technology is enhanced.
We thought the OPPO Reno11 Pro 5G that was present in Indonesia also brought a periscope camera like the previous Reno10 series, but it didn’t. However, with this flagship algorithm, we see results that are not much different. Even more interesting to discuss.
HyperTone combines uncompressed RAW images and applies AI-powered denoising and demosaic processes to enhance brightness, dynamic range, and color richness in images.
Reno11 Pro 5G carries 3 main cameras, namely 50MP ultra-clear with IMX890 sensor. Then there is a 32MP telephoto camera with IMX709 sensor, which is capable of capturing 2X image magnification to improve portrait quality.
Even with the flagship algorithms we mentioned above, this phone’s camera is capable of capturing images up to 5X magnification without losing quality.
Then there is an 8MP Ultra-wide camera with an IMX355 sensor. While on the front, the Reno11 Pro carries a 32MP camera with a Sony UMX709 sensor that is capable of magnifying images up to 2X.
For those of you who need a camera for video needs, both the front and rear cameras are capable of capturing videos up to 4K 30fps resolution.

Battery and 80W SuperVOOC

OPPO Reno11 Pro 5G carries a 4600 mAh battery. Of course, with the default charger adapter and data cable that can charge quickly up to 80W.
With this capability, the Reno11 Pro 5G phone can be fully charged in just about 28 minutes. Able to cut time, for example when we oversleep before going to campus or the office.

Conclusion

OPPO Reno11 Pro 5G is the highest caste Reno11 Series phone in Indonesia. Bringing all the latest features at a relatively high price, even when compared to previous Reno products.
The absence of a periscope lens can be replaced with the improved HyperTone Imaging Engine feature. Making every photo and video result of this phone look worthy of being displayed on social media. Even for news coverage activities. Without effort.
