Oppo Reno8 T 5G is here as the most premium Reno8 T Series device, offering a number of advanced features and a curved AMOLED screen on the right and left sides, as well as a 5G-ready connection. It is OPPO’s answer to the trend of curved-screen phones that are starting to appear in mid-range devices.
Bringing an attractive visual, this phone is also accompanied by a number of capable technologies. Starting from a powerful chipset, large RAM and a number of improvements on the camera side that are capable of capturing images in large resolution.

OPPO Reno8 T 5G Design
As the most premium Reno8 T Series product, the Reno8 T 5G design looks more striking. It is still thin and comfortable to hold like the 4G variant, but more solid thanks to the presence of a 3D curve screen so that the edges of the phone are more comfortable to hold using our fingers.
As we know, there is no variant with synthetic leather on the Reno8T 5G. However, the available color choices are still attractive, namely Midnight Black and Sunrise Gold. With OPPO Glow technology, the back cover material will not be easily dirty due to fingerprints, although it may still give a slightly slippery effect.
The layout of the main camera lens which is made to merge 2 circles in 1 oval shape makes its appearance remind us of the Reno8 T 4G variant. The difference here is that the circle is bigger and more complex.
On the front, we will find a selfie camera lens in the form of a punch hole that positions itself in the middle of the top screen. No longer in one corner like other Reno phones.
Meanwhile, for the port hole, the Reno8 T 5G only provides one connection hole, namely USB Type C. sad news for fans of the 3.5 mm audio jack.
OPPO Reno8 T 5G Display Screen
Usually we find curved screens on flagship phones. For example, the Find X Series in the OPPO family. But now it is present in the upper middle class phones or down to the Reno series.
The screen itself is an AMOLED panel screen measuring 6.7 inches with a stretch to the side by making curves along the right and left edges, and leaving a thin bezel both above and below the screen.
This screen also carries a 120 Hz Refresh Rate, making it comfortable to use to enjoy content and browse social media content in several applications. Also makes it more responsive when used to play games.
UI and Software
OPPO Reno8 T 5G carries ColorOS 13 based on Android 13. We already know that it is the best Custom UI because it offers a simple appearance, is easy to use and presents several interesting features. For example, of course RAM Expansion, Game mode, camera and editing features and so on.
Chipset and Memory
OPPO Reno8 T 5G is powered by a chipset made by Qualcomm, namely the Snapdragon 695 5G with 6nm fabrication. It is a mid-range 5G chipset that is widely used by other phones in this price range.
This chipset carries an 8-core CPU with a configuration of 2 x Kryo 660 Gold with a speed of 2.2 GHz and 6 x Kryo 660 Silver at a speed of 1.7GHz. The Kryo 660 Gold itself is a chip based on Cortex-A78, while the Kryo 660 Silver is based on Cortex-A55. It is quite capable in its class.
Meanwhile, on the graphics side, this chipset carries the Adreno 619 GPU which is also known to be tough for running heavy games. Geshin Impact, for example, can stay stable at 30fps for some time playing.
While MOBA games such as Mobile Legend, can be set to the highest graphic settings, aka Ultra.
This smartphone carries 8GB of RAM with a choice of 128GB and 256GB ROM. Also a RAM Expansion feature of up to 8GB which will allow for better hardware acceleration.
108MP Camera
Using the latest bining technology, the OPPO Reno8 T series camera, including the Reno8 T 5G, is capable of capturing images up to 108MP in Hi-Res mode. What happens if we capture images with this mode? the photo results will be large in terms of file capacity, and if we crop, the quality does not change. Especially if the ending is our social media page.
OPPO itself tried to prove the sharpness of this cellphone camera by holding a series of photo exhibitions taken directly from the cellphone, and printed with Fuji Pearl Paper photo paper measuring 120 x 185 cm. This event lasted until March 15 yesterday.
In addition to the 108MP camera, the Reno8T 5G also carries a 2 MP camera for microscope purposes and 2 MP for depth needs. As well as a 32 MP front camera which is OPPO’s mainstay.

OPPO Reno8 T 5G is equipped with a capable battery with a capacity of 4800 mAh. This battery is capable of carrying the cellphone to last all day, in various scenarios, including for photos.
Interestingly, the Reno8 T 5G is a Reno cellphone with the best SuperVOOC support, which is 67W. Capable of fully charging the battery from zero in just 44 minutes.

OPPO Reno8 T 5G is a Reno phone with a different touch. The curved screen or curve display makes it look like a flagship phone. Thin, comfortable to hold, and does not take up much space when stored. But more than that, this phone carries a sharp camera and super fast charging that will be widely used.
