vivo V30e Reviews
The vivo V30 Series, especially the V30 and V30 Pro 5G are known for their ultra-thin design, long battery life, and advanced camera features. However, can the cheapest member of this series, the vivo V30e 5G, provide the same?
Let’s see how much has been sacrificed to present a more affordable price and whether this device is right for you in our vivo V30e quick review.
Use the free transparent case for a more comfortable grip and to keep the frame clean from fingerprints and minor scratches.
Vivo V30e Display
The vivo V30e features a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1300-nits. The display also has SGS Low Blue Light, Low Motion Blur, and Low Flicker certifications.
The display quality is excellent with vibrant colors, deep contrast, and sufficient brightness for outdoor use. Unfortunately, the vivo V30e lacks stereo speakers, which is a bummer, but it does offer a volume booster of up to 200%.
Vivo V30e Performance Review
Powered by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, Adreno 710 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of expandable storage, the vivo V30e delivers adequate performance for everyday tasks.
Games like Genshin Impact can be played on low graphics settings, while PUBG Mobile runs on Balanced/High settings but is not so smooth.
Vivo V30e Camera Review
The Vivo V30e is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 32-megapixel front camera.
Daylight photos from the main camera are very good with quite high saturation. The ultra-wide camera produces softer photos, but the colors produced are similar to the main camera.
For photos in low light conditions, it turns out that they can still be proud of, especially for sharing via social media platforms.
Vivo V30e Battery Review
The 5,500mAh battery in the Vivo V30e can last around 13 hours and 13 minutes for continuous 1080p YouTube video playback. A full charge takes around 1 hour and 25 minutes with a 44W FlashCharge charger.
vivo V30e Pros & Cons
Pros:
- Very sleek design
- Decent camera
- Aura Light 3.0
- Neat software
Cons:
- Poor chipset choice for the price
- No stereo speakers
Conclusion
The vivo V30e offers a sleek design, bright display, fast charging, and a decent camera. However, the chipset used is still less than optimal for its price and the lack of stereo speakers is a significant drawback. If you are looking for a phone with a luxurious design and adequate performance, the vivo V30e could be an interesting choice.
For the price tag, the vivo V30e is currently available at a price tag of IDR 4,699,000 for the 8+8GB/128GB variant and IDR 4,999,000 for the 8+8GB/256GB version.
